request

We have been doing business with Asahara Sake Brewery for a long time, and we still receive requests for seals and labels for sake bottles. When I visited Asahara Sake Brewery, I was consulted that they were considering launching a new product using pouches instead of bottles. Since the pouches are light and unbreakable, they are suitable for souvenirs, so they are targeted at tourists from overseas, who want to create products with a Japanese-style design and eye-catching appearance that raises the value of the product. I heard.
The problem was that it was difficult to differentiate our products from those of other companies simply by expressing “Japaneseness” through the design of stickers and labels. Also, since the surface of the pouch is soft, we heard that it was difficult to attach a sticker, so we wondered if there was a way to solve the problem other than the stickers and labels that we had proposed so far.
Proposal

Asahara Sake Brewery entrusted me with a picture of a kamishimo as a design image. Based on that photo, we worked with the designer to fine-tune the details, and over the course of about three months, we completed a package design with the image of a samurai. To keep the paper package from collapsing, we covered it with a transparent box. I was able to do it."

Sales in charge
Founded in 1882, Asahara Sake Brewery is a customer with a long history, but it is important to take on new challenges. The reason why I decided to use pouches this time is that I wanted to try manufacturing and selling amazake, so I started selling amazake in pouches. This was the first time for me to propose Carton Package, but I feel that we were able to commercialize it because of our customers who flexibly accept new challenges. As the movement of overseas tourists gradually recovers, we expect that the demand for this product will increase further in the future.
